In the past, the Naruto Ninja Storm games adapted the series' story as it was progressing, to varying degrees of faithfulness. There is also Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, which as the name indicates, features content from both Naruto and Boruto, although it definitely prioritizes the former. In anticipation of the Boruto anime, Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 featured the Road to Boruto DLC expansion, which retold the events of the Boruto movie and added Boruto, Sarada, Mitsuki, and later the Otsutsukis as playable characters. In fairness, Boruto has had some video game appearances already. As such, it is time for Boruto to get its own Naruto Ninja Storm game, as there is plenty of new content that would make for a good adaptation that simultaneously progress the Ninja Storm franchise. Boruto has been running for a couple of years now, but it hasn't gotten the chance to truly shine in the video game world.
